Strong and effective Technology Transfer Officers (TTOs) lie at the heart of successful valorisation. NGI therefore brought all Life Sciences TTOs and Valorisation Managers together in the NGI Valorisation Network to exchange "best practices" and strengthen the profession.
From within the Network, there are two-monthly meetings, which are good opportunities for discussing the NGI Valorisation activities, the state of affairs within the Centres or TTOs and general valorisation issues. A key feature of the Network is getting to know and trust one another.
Other network activities include visits to foreign TTOs, training and workshops on technology transfer and business development and representation at valorisation events and meetings.
