Thirty-one Horizon Breakthrough projects granted!

The 7th and final round of Horizon Breakthrough Projects resulted in 31 granted proposals.

Out of 113 applications submitted, 64 proposals made it through the first selection procedures, and finally 31 proposals were selected for funding.

The applications contained a broad spectrum of research topics with an overall increase of applications in the field of MicroRNAs. In this round, 55% of the granted projects are associated with NGI Genomics Centres. ZonMw carried out the selection procedure.
