Queen Wilhelmina Research Prize for Hans Clevers

Hans Clevers, associated with the Cancer Genomics Centre (Hubrecht Institute), was on 24 November, in the presence of Queen Beatrix, awarded the prestigious Queen Wilhelmina Research Prize.

This is a personal prize of € 2 million, which must be spent on large-scale multidisciplinary cancer research. Purpose of the Queen Wilhelmina Research Prize, which is the largest award in the Netherlands within the field of scientific cancer research, is to promote the translation of fundamental knowledge into actual applications.
