The Kluyver Centre has started a 2-year collaboration with the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) in Beijing and the recently founded Tianjin Industrial Biotechnology Centre (TIBC) in Tianjin.
The collaboration involves four PostDocs (two in the Netherlands and two in China) who will work on the production of (bio)butanol. In addition to this project, the Kluyver Centre provides courses in China on the Genomics of Industrial Fermentation, Communication in Industrial Biotechnology and Patenting.
