For plant scientists to publish in the best journals is always a major achievement. In recent months, scientists from the Centre for Biosystems Genomics (CBSG) have published in Science, Nature,
and Nature Genetics.
A second paper for Science is also on the way. These papers reflect both the international quality and diversity of our scientists and their research – from the use of different –omics technologies to achieving
a better understanding of how plants are genetically organized and how they have developed complex molecular protection mechanisms, as well as determining the DNA sequence of our most important pathogen!
