On 14-16 September 2010 the North American Convention of the Global Sustainable Bioenergy (GSB) Project was held.
The North American convention, organised by the Institute on the Environment of the University of Minnesota, was the fifth of five continental conventions of the Global Sustainable Bioenergy (GSB) Project, held in 2010.
Last February, the Kluyver Centre was the first to organise the European convention. Afterwards, conventions were held in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
The GSB Project is a collaborative effort involving universities and institutes around the world. The aim is to create a vision and path forward for bioenergy as a global resource.
The results of the five conventions will be presented at the Life Sciences Momentum on 23 November 2010.
