On 23 September Centre for Medical Systems Biology director Gertjan van Ommen received a ZonMw (the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development) Pearl for his work on the development of gene therapy for Duchennes disease.
The ZonMw Pearl is presented several times a year to projects that can serve as an example to other researchers.
