The call for the 7th (and final) round of Horizon Breakthrough projects is open for submission until 27 October. The programme is aimed at young talented researchers in the field of genomics and/or bioinformatics who submit innovative ideas or concepts that have not extensively been subject to prior research. Breakthrough projects provide a great opportunity for researchers to establish a proof of concept that will be eligible for the next rounds of larger Zenith projects, expected to be launched in the fall of 2010.
