Science Watch has declared Forensic Genomics Consortium Netherlands project leader Manfred Kayser to be amongst the top three world experts of forensic sciences.
Science Watch has been monitoring the world of forensic sciences for the last 16 years. The organisation examines how many scientific articles the researchers in this field publish and how much impact these articles have on colleagues.
Professor Kayser is one of the FGCN project leaders on behalf the Department of Forensic Molecular Biology of the Erasmus MC.
