On Thursday 28 May, the Centre for Society and Genomics awarded the first CSG prize for the best nonscientific publication based on social genomics research.
The winners were Anja Krabben, Toine Pieters and Stephen Snelders for their book ‘Chemie van verslaving. Over genen, hersenstofjes en sociale zwakte’. As one of 20 entries, the book was a unanimous choice by the jury - consisting of Wilma van Donselaar, Netherlands Genomics Initiative, Ingrid Geesink, Rathenau Institute and Niki Kortweg, science journalist.
