Five PhD students of the Netherlands Consortium for Healthy Ageing recently received prizes during congresses.
Carolien Wijsman has won a prize at the Tartu University Medical Faculty Annual Conference for best oral presentation. Ling Oei, Karol Estrada and Carola Zillikens each received a young investigator award at the annual meeting of the American Society for Bone Mineral Research in Toronto, Canada. Earlier this year Martha Castaño-Betancourt and again Karol Estrada won the young investigator award at the European symposium on Calcified Tissues. Karol Estrada is also a semi-finalist for the ASHG trainee research award.
