On 1 June 2011, around 90 participants gathered in Utrecht for the second edition of the LifeSciences@work Event.
Once again, the crowd created an energetic atmosphere. Starting life sciences entrepreneurs mingled with their experienced counterparts and with each other. The workshops brought real life stories from seasoned CEOs, provided practical advice on coaching and put the spotlight on the new NIABA Biobusiness Entrepreneurs network. Alongside these sources of information and inspiration, newcomers in the field seized the opportunity of having a 1-on-1 session with one of the 18 experts from the worlds of venture capital, intellectual property, accounting and legal affairs. "These expert sessions are a great way to get feedback on issues that are outside my area of expertise", said participant Sander den Hoedt, CEO of DELMIC. With a total of a 65 expert sessions booked, the item proved to be highly popular among the participants.
