NGI enables probing into the fascinating world of biology by initiating, organising and funding a number of technology centres that are accessible to the Dutch and international life sciences community.
These centres work on their own research programmes, develop and disseminate new technologies, tools and methods, offer technical support and serve as training centres for scientists and technicians.
Bioinformatics, proteomics, metabolomics, toxicogenomics and systems biology are the focus of NGI’s efforts in technology development.
